La Nina is a climate anomaly that can cause extreme weather. marked by decrease in the sea surface temperature of Pacific Ocean at equator. prolonged rainy season for Asia including Indonesia. From mid-2020 to end 2022, Indonesia has experienced events. This study aims determine changes rainfall patterns and number days during research was conducted descriptively, using (SST) data rain originating from BMKG Climatology Station Sultan Syarif Kasim II Pekanbaru last 10 years 2013-2022. The results show occurred October 2020 December 2022 with weak moderate level strength. increased amount 54-90% normal conditions 11-70% compared conditions. Monthly low high category, while daily included heavy category. event caused almost 3 days.
